Train Conductor World App Reviews

Totally love except

Ok so I got addicted by the previous versions of this title. Here is the problem with app developers and this one is included. Stop trying to make it so darn difficult to play two or three worlds in. What you dont seem to understand is phone games are suppose to be fun and exciting and not so anger inducing that you almost throw your phone across the room. Increase the difficulty gradually but dont make it so frustrating that you end up hating the game and leaving it for another one that doesnt make you crazy. Paris and Berlin are just too frustrating and difficult to manage for the 3rd and 4th worlds to get to. They just make me mad and make me want to stop playing the game all together. And leaves a bad taste for the whole franchise. Simple and fun is what you want in an iphone game. Want to make it massively difficult. Write for Xbox or PS4. Very disappointed in this game. And I was in love 10 minutes ago. Now I just am angry. People dont like to be made to feel like a failure on a phone game.

Realky fun, charming and challenging

This was getting frustrating, but once I was taught that I can hold the train with my finger and not lose a star, it got much more fun and strategic. Good fun. If youre patient you can open most or all of the game without spending any money.

Simple and fun

Its a very cute, engaging game. I pay it to help me focus and relax. Great before bed!

Great game

Love the game but it needs to be expanded!!

Fun until it stalls out

The game is fun and addicting, but I wish there were more levels, and getting three stars seems virtually impossible.

Fun, but annoying music

Great fun, as all the others were, but I miss the music. One of the great things about the first two Train Conductors is that every town had its own distinct music. TCW just has the same annoying ditty (that sounds like it was churned out in Garage Band in about 20 minutes as an afterthought) repeated over and over ad nauseum.

Fun and engaging for all ages!

I like the puzzles and my 3yr old likes crashing trains together! Super!

Addicting but the game cant tell time

Ive really enjoyed this game for the few weeks Ive had it. I havent unlocked all the towns yet, and it seems that "insane" mode is just that...insane! I have a few at 3 stars but most are only at 2. I have 2 missions that have been on my screen for 10 days because I cant beat them and gave up. Maybe make them able to be abandoned if you cant or dont want to do them. Bc of this Im only getting one mission I can do at a time. Also, the train depots just dont tell time. Ill claim the coins and it will tell me 6hrs 50mims until its full and Ill come back 10 hrs later and its at 5hrs 33mins or something and none of them are ready to be claimed. Other times Ill claim them and play a couple hours later and theyre all ready again when they shouldnt be. Just weird and a little frustrating.

Missing won track boxes

Id give 5stars but since playing Ive won 3 track boxes now Im still waiting to receive. It pops up at the top of the screen but when I finish the board it is lost somewhere. You know when devoting time playing this game we are all counting on the train tracks to move up and on in the game so we can connect more stations. I mean isnt that part of the game?

Great game but expand

I have all my towns and all storage filled with the max 6. Where is the expansion. I can see if I try and put a steel track in the upgrade machine it looks like something allowing us build on mountains. So I know its there and surely the ability to build on water is next. Your killing me already. Lets do this!!!

Starts out fun, loses steam quickly

The gameplay itself is fun and addictive early on, but it gets off track fast. Heres why: 1. Track tile prices rise quickly, limiting how quickly you can expand. 2. A lot of terrain requires iron tracks (awarded few and far between), so expansion is very slow. Sure, you can trade in wooden track tiles in on iron tiles, but it takes 5 wooden tiles to upgrade to 1 iron tile (slowing expansion further). 3. The fix is relatively simple--keep track tile prices low, or provide iron tiles more often.

Where are the new cities

I love this game its fun but I cant find anymore cities behind the clouds whats up do I need to purchase a expansion pack if so where can I find it or do I need to play a different difficulty level

Great game ... but...

Its a great game and keeps me entertained but it seems like the random objectives (quests/special missions) that pop up might be pre-programmed. Im worried that as I finish more of these that are increasing in difficulty, they will get to the point where theyre all impossible. At that point, there wont be much left to do in the game. Until a new city is released, that is. I love that we have the opportunity to watch an ad video to be able to continue or earn occasional extra coins. The game can be played and enjoyed quite a bit without having to spend money. 5 stars for that. Minus one 1 star for re-playability.

Great but...

Fun and challenging but as the game progresses, it rarely gives iron tracks needed to expand. Ive earned over 30 wooden tracks in a row, and its getting frustrating.

Favorite iOS Game, Hands Down

Just try it.

Okay, But It Gets Old...

At first this game is very addictive and fun. Once you get your towns all connected, there really isnt that much to do other than play the missions the game doles out to you. Iron tracks cant seem to be upgraded. In App Purchases are WAY overpriced!!! The game ratchets up the difficulty to insane levels and most goals can never be met. The game is fun for a few weeks but starts to get a bit long in the tooth. Ill be deleting it soon, unless something new opens up. The game was updated recently and not in a good way. What used to take 700-800 to get a track piece has been increased to over 1000. I had hoped that waiting for an update would make this game more fun rather than increase the frustration. I was wrong. Time to delete this game from my phone for good!!

Constantly Freezes

It has frozen up 7 times in the past half hour pain is in the butt

Lots of fun

Very fun game that manages to make every level feel different and not just different variations of the same level with a different coat of paint.

Rate
