Kills my battery need to be able to skip events

Game is fun, very addictive, however it kills my battery and I mean drains it to 50% after just a few minuets of playing. Also would be nice to be able to skip events or the task. I think you can only have 3 at a time Im stuck on those 3 and cant get past them and not getting anything new. Unless this is corrected the game is pointless no reason to play on.
